Photovoltaic backsheet film

The backsheet is an important part of the module to isolate the internal battery and encapsulation film from the external environment, and is required to have excellent performance in insulation, barrier and heat resistance, so that the PV module can still provide a long term report under the more severe external environment. Hydrolysis-resistant PET film is usually used as the middle layer, with PVF film, PVDF film or weather-resistant fluoropolymer as the surface layer. The surface in contact with EVA or POE has high reflectivity and strong adhesion, and the surface in contact with air has excellent long-term weatherability.
